SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 - HOST AND PAYMENT GATEWAY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:

We use SagePay Online Payment Processing. Sage Pay is the union of Protx, the fastest growing payment service provider (PSP) and Sage, one of the UK's most trusted business brands.

Sage Pay's systems are scanned quarterly by Trustwave which are an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) for the payment card brands.

Sage pay is also audited annually under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and is a fully approved Level 1 payment services provider, which is the highest level of compliance. SagePay are also active members of the PCI Security Standards Council (SSC) that defines card industry global regulation.

All transaction information passed between our website and Sage Pay's systems is encrypted using 256-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted. You can be completely assured that nothing you pass to Sage Pay's servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

When you have placed an order and entered your contact details you will be ready to pay for your order. At this stage you are automatically directed to SagePay secure payment pages, which capture your card details in real time, where you can pay by debit or credit card as well a PayPal. The SagePay secure payment environment automates and completes the transaction before you are returned to our website for order confirmation.

SagePay payment processing also incorporates Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure Code, which brings added security and fraud prevention.

As we use SagePay for all card processing. Your card details are not stored on our servers and our staff can not view your card details.

All funds will be deducted from your debit/credit card before any goods are dispatched. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

PayPal is a secure online payment method, which allows you to pay for goods easily without sharing any of your financial information. PayPal remember and safeguard your bank, credit or debit card details, so you don’t have to pass those details to any other online retailer.

TechSmartWear are happy to offer PayPal as a payment option for those people wishing to take advantage of the benefits PayPal offer. The payment option is given when you reach step 4 of the checkout, after you have been transferred to SagePay. Please make sure there is sufficient funds in your PayPal account before completing the transaction.

We do not accept Paypal e-Checks. Products will only be shipped once payment has been cleared.

When using American Express your billing address MUST be the same as your delivery address. This is an American Express requirement and therefore beyond our control. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United Kingdom, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United Kingdom legislation.
